Creative Concepts - Phase I Conceptual Design
Today's commercial client seeks efficient workspace that captures the essence of what they want to achieve. The Turnage Company has worked with many major companies in the Jacksonville area to create this type of work environment. We believe that commercial spaces should have an appearance that promotes the work environment, maintains functionality, and creates an atmosphere that is unique to the client.

All commercial projects face the challenge of creatively and cost-effectively achieving the objectives of the business owner. A creative concept is not complete unless it is financially feasible. Thus, our first step is the Phase I Conceptual Design, which provides the minimum level of plans and drawings necessary to determine the viability of the project and establish accurate project costs, with as few change orders as possible.

With the latest in computer-aided design (CAD) techniques and equipment, our design professionals will prepare a set of to-scale plans. These plans will clearly communicate information regarding the size, layout, and functional characteristics of the project including elevations showing how the finished project will look. We determine a realistic timetable for the project and produce a 20 category, item-by-item cost breakdown for the project based on real information.

Design Detail & Selection - Phase II
This represents the final design stage and includes all the detailed information required to meet permitting regulations such as zoning codes, life safety codes, structural engineering, wind loading, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, site work, landscaping, drainage and environmental issues. This is also the phase where the client finalizes all selections such as plumbing fixtures, electrical fixtures, doors, windows, flooring, office furniture, and office furnishings.


Quality Construction - Phase III
The Turnage Company differs from most commercial contractors because we provide a much higher level of quality than most contractors performing commercial work. Continuing Service - Phase IV
Even though your project may be complete, we're still here to assist. Because of our commitment to client satisfaction, we're frequently called upon for referrals or to help with a myriad of projects that seem like they would not fall under a contractor's responsibility. We are always available for maintenance, repairs, specialized projects, or even hurricane preparation. We will help you fulfill your ideas to the best of our ability. That is another reason we consider ourselves in the service business rather than "just another contractor".

For our clients, there are no projects considered unworthy of at least a phone call to discuss the possibilities. If the task does not warrant full Turnage Company involvement, we are often able to make referrals or assist in making these projects a reality. "We Love What We Do and It Shows".
