This Ortega project, located on the St. Johns River, was an older existing structure that had been somewhat un-maintained and was in need of extensive renovations. The rooms were smaller, typical of older homes of the area and time period, and needed to be enlarged and opened up. This project was a "whole house" renovation along with a large addition for a master bedroom / bathroom suite. Enough of the house was remodeled that code requirements dictated that everything was required to be brought up to code. The windows were all replaced, the plumbing was all re-piped, and the electrical was re-wired.
